Disequilibrium

In medicine, disequilibrium refers to an impaired sense of equilibrioception, or sense of balance. This is one of the causes of dizziness. Most SCDS patients experience a certain amount of disequilibrium, but it needs to be repeated that there are diagnosed patients who do not feel they have any problems at all with their balance. For those with balance problems, the seriousness varies dramatically, ranging from light-headedness, spinning, unsteadiness and faintness, to severe vertigo which incapacitates them completely.
